The Train and the week knees

The Train and the week knees
By Curt Vaughn

The Train pulls away from the station, the whistle blows, and I begin to feel week at the knees.  I see her board and I begin to run after the Train just barley climbing on board the moving uncertainty.

The Train moves faster done the track, the whistle bellows, and I begin to feel my knees start to crumble.  I see her moving onward up the compartments and I follow very fast but seem to not be gaining at all upon her.

The Train starts to race further done the track, the whistle screams, and my knees start to turn to mush.  I see her still going onward up the train and I start to run after her not knowing if I will every catch up with her or if I am even moving at all.

The Train now reaches insane speeds as it goes down the track, the whistle yells madly, and my knees start to shatter.  I see her now running through the train cars, and I believe now there is no beginning to this train but that does not detour me from running after her.

The Train now flying done the track, the whistle so loud it breaks open all the windows, and my knees have completely vanished.  I see her now right in front of me and I realize there is no Train and that is when I finally catch up with her and we continue on to the End of the Line.
