This ancient pound will not fall

This ancient pound will not fall.

By Curt Vaughn

Taking walks in the cool evening mist around the lakes of present, past, and future tense. With graceful and cautious yellow billed feathered warriors on the brown and gold covered secret forest under the eternal but every changing night sky. You hear and see rumbling waters of nature and man glisten like candles in the wind. Do not dismiss your muse because of man, for the warriors have not, they have adapted but still keep their ancient ways and so must you. Keep to the warrior’s path and they will challenge you and accept you into their revered society if you can show them you are worthy of their featured and wondering ways.  The rain never stops in their ancient lake it comes from the trees and the water and gives life to all who follow it and you will find the red billed feathered chief’s of old who can show you the future and the path you must take.  Keep on going and the ancient pound will never fall.
