Sunlight in Dark Cloudy Rain

Sunlight in Dark Cloudy Rain
By Curt Vaughn

You know that time between the time of being awake and not being awake, I am not talking about the R.E.M.'s, dreaming, falling asleep, even waking up moments, or whatever other medical, mental, social, or physical waking and sleeping moments.  I am talking about the instant in time where all is clear for a moment then gone in a flash.  However I do not believe it every actually leaves I believe it is always there if you look hard enough.  Where happiness begins and never seems to end.  How you feel all at peace and everything seems to come into focus.  Why you do get up no matter what the speed to do something no matter how small or unimportant.  What the earth tastes like to you when nothing could bring you any more joy in that very moment.  Who shares, not shares, someday may share, or you want to share this wonderful time with is up to you and only you.  When this moment is gone I believe no one will be around, for what is life without moments like these that let the light of the sunlight penetrate the dark cloudy rain.

Dreaming Visually

Dreaming Visually
By Curt Vaughn

Dream what you want and visualize what you need.  For Dreaming is the essence of desire and visualizing is what is in your grasp.  Switch the two and it may still work but how often can we define our reality just this simply.  Let the Dreamer's Dream what they want and let those who visualize see what they need.  For to deny either could make a point but, should it and then you will have to ask yourself the question why.  So, Dream to Visualize and Visualize to Dream.

Universal Fill in the Blank
By Curt Vaughn

I __________________________________________.
What we Think, What we Want, and What we Can Never Have Because of some universal reason.  I think about ____ all the time, ____ follows me from here to there in my mind.  I want ____ every moment of every day; I cannot live without ____.  I know _____ will never be with me, but I still cannot imagine my life without _____.  When it comes down to the point I just want to scream out to the world for now and forever that ___________________.
Now that these has been said maybe the universe will just make a little more since_____________________________________________

The Train and the week knees

The Train and the week knees
By Curt Vaughn

The Train pulls away from the station, the whistle blows, and I begin to feel week at the knees.  I see her board and I begin to run after the Train just barley climbing on board the moving uncertainty.

The Train moves faster done the track, the whistle bellows, and I begin to feel my knees start to crumble.  I see her moving onward up the compartments and I follow very fast but seem to not be gaining at all upon her.

The Train starts to race further done the track, the whistle screams, and my knees start to turn to mush.  I see her still going onward up the train and I start to run after her not knowing if I will every catch up with her or if I am even moving at all.

The Train now reaches insane speeds as it goes down the track, the whistle yells madly, and my knees start to shatter.  I see her now running through the train cars, and I believe now there is no beginning to this train but that does not detour me from running after her.

The Train now flying done the track, the whistle so loud it breaks open all the windows, and my knees have completely vanished.  I see her now right in front of me and I realize there is no Train and that is when I finally catch up with her and we continue on to the End of the Line.

The Dream of the Second Hand and the Heart

The Dream of the Second Hand and the Heart
By Curt Vaughn

The second hand skips a beat and so does my heart.  I see her for the first time and I cannot see or hear anyone else in mind or spirit

The second hand moves one second forward and my heart starts beating.  I talk to her not knowing what to say but I have made a friend for life without saying a word I realize, how fare can I see into the future.

The second hand moves forward one more second as my heart starts beating faster.  I begin to spend time with her cherishing every moment for then, now, and whatever waits in this universe of possibilities

The second hand jumps a second forward and my heart starts to beat out of my chest.  I know nothing and everything about life but I know how I feel when I am around her and that is a feeling I would not trade for anything on these green Earth, because every moment I am around her is the happiest moment in my life

The second hand vanishes from space and the heart beat ceases in time and I wonder if this was a dream or am I just awake in a dream like state, guess I while just have to wait and see if I will see her again.

Love of Life in Time and Space

Love of Life in Time and Space
By Curt Vaughn

Well it has come upon us once again, our old friend time has come to pay us a visit and remind us of its every being in this void of space we call a universe, galaxy, planet, and place.  Oh what wonders will it bring us now and what has it left behind in that star covered blackness of the sky’s for us to cherish or demise?  I wonder if we will still ask time and space questions which they riddle back faint replies for us to go over in our ever-busy minds.  Time and Space are always here I think, but I find we take more notice to time than to space; when it calls or maybe we just think both are here when neither are maybe not.  Oh, call this what you want but I will think of time and space as one in the same in what I like to think of as love in life in time and space.
