Natures Path

Natures Path
By Curt Vaughn

The fire burns the new leaf sky under a blanket of fireflies.  While we the trees converse through winds of the new dawn until the new sunset brings rolling rocks to our roots.  After we have eaten the rays and sampled the rivers of our youth, what wisdom have we passed from branch to branch?  And what new paths through the forest have we made?  Will we go wandering or shall we stay in our already rich and fertile soil that does not change and can be explained.  Let’s cast off the dead branches and grow new ones and surround us with the fresh foliage of the spring of happiness.  And let’s find contentment with the wild animals that nibble at our feet and pass the dinner plates of sharing to them and all that come along our path.  For the wildfires of time could come at anytime for one leaf, one tree, or even the entire forest. The Trees do not make nature it self but the knowledge that moves with the wind, water, and rocks along each path connects us as long we keep exploring the known, and unknown paths.  And do not let the paths disappear under the moss of nature as we know it can not be loss, in this you can always find your bright sky and smile back at it and laugh for a while.
